Recording Artist: Greg Haage

Recording artist, Greg Haage, is a studio keyboardist, music producer, singer/songwriter & live performer in the Minneapolis area. Born in Kansas City, Haage started playing piano at 5.


After moving to Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota then graduating college, he formed UP FRONT, one of the most popular dance bands in the Twin Cities well-known for having excellent musicians & great female singers. He is an accomplished player and lead singer of R & B, funk, pop artists like Hall & Oates, Toto, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Mr. Mister and Sting. His smooth jazz style playing is like David Benoit, Joe Sample, Bob James, Jeff Lorber. Soundtrack playing like Thomas Newman, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Craig Armstrong and James Horner.

His versatile sound blends soulful melodies, rich harmonies, and cinematic textures into a distinctive musical voice.
The main track, "The two shall become one" off the instrumental CD called "Fusion," was featured on SmoothJazz.com. It is some of his finest piano solo work, to date. Vocally, he's been described sounding similar to Peter Cox, (Go West) and Mark King.
